Talking Heads are scenes that add to the show's reality style quality, in which a character shares their innermost thoughts and feelings to the audience. This acts as an aside, as no other characters know of what they are saying at the time that they confess it to the audience.
Talking Heads scenes are done with the character of interest standing and addressing the camera, with their name and related title usually displayed in a caption at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen — for example, that for James reads JAMES / Drummer.
- Talking Heads also occur on The Next Step, but for these scenes the character is seated in front of a (sometimes visible) camera.
